Who is responsible

What you do not have to give us

You can use the calculator without an account. The site has no contact form, no newsletter and no ads, and it does not use Google Analytics. The age and answers you enter in the calculator are calculated in your browser and are not sent anywhere.

Visitor statistics: Rybbit

We count visits with Rybbit, which processes the data for us. Rybbit uses no cookies and, according to Rybbit, does not store your IP address.

For each page you view, your browser sends Rybbit the page address (including anything after a question mark in it), the page title, the address of the page you came from, your screen size, your browser language and a technical signal used to filter out bots. When you click a link to another website, Rybbit also records the link's address and text. Like any web request, these requests also carry your IP address and your browser's User-Agent, which reveals your browser and operating system; Rybbit states that it does not store the IP address.

We send no custom events to Rybbit, and session replay is switched off. Because Rybbit uses no cookies, it runs whether or not you accept cookies in the banner.

Cookie banner: CookiePal

The consent banner on every page comes from CookiePal, which processes the data described here. CookiePal sets a cookie of its own on this site with a random ID, and adds your choice to it when you make one. The cookie lasts one year.

When you make a choice, CookiePal sends it, with the random ID, to CookiePal to record your consent. CookiePal also counts page views for its own service.

Nothing on the site waits for your consent. Our own code sets no cookies.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which delivers the pages to your browser.
